If you love dark mafia reads, make sure you check these books out. The twists and turns in this book were dark and unexpected. I enjoy when an author can take a character that you’ve previously hated and show you a different side that makes you enjoy read their story. Monica James did just that with Alek, but still kept him Alek. I was glued to the pages, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with every turn of the page.
With the enemy dead, my throne awaits my return. But the reason I’m still standing is being held captive by another foe.
