We have had a very busy weekend. My mom is in town visiting so Friday night we went out to eat at a new restaurant here in Austin… Senorita’s Cantina Tex Mex with a Twist on Anderson Mill – it was awful!! They don’t have a website or I would link to them! They are brand new but our meal was cold, the queso tasted like it was from a can, and the atmosphere was way too loud to hold a conversation at your own table. The hubby said that it was edible BUT my mother ordered Chicken Tortilla Soup (her favorite) and did not even eat it! I had chicken enchiladas but would get a super cold bite and didn’t finish mine either… the hubby brought his food home and remade it into breakfast for himself. They had ordered beer and when they received them they were HOT and returned them. We might try it one more time because it is brand new but this first experience was not good at all! Saturday we headed to the Lake (what is left of it) to hand out with Papaw for father’s day! We got out there late in the day but I think it was the perfect time, not too hot and enough sunlight to swim and “surf”! We had a really great time!
My little monkey loves the water so much! It is such a fun time to watch her swim and splash in the water! Sunday we headed to Lockhart to spend time with Pappy and Uncle Rale (his 1st Daddy’s day and birthday). We had BBQ and spent time hanging out with our family! After we came home Uncle J and Auntie Tacian came over to visit and hang out! We had a full and busy weekend traveling and visiting everyone for Father’s Day! One thing I want to mention is that Alexandra and I are so very lucky to have Michael as her Daddy!! He is the BEST Daddy and I cannot imagine life with out him! Thanks for being such a great Hubby and such a wonderful Father! We are BLESSED!! We hope that you all had a wonderful Father’s day weekend!

You were a busy girl…wow! Sounds like fun though!
We haven’t tried it, and it doesn’t sound like we want to!! Besides, does Austin really need yet another Tex Mex restaurant???
Isn’t the Lake sad? I’ve never seen a lake with islands before moving here!
