Well this last weekend did not turn out like we wanted but was pretty good anyway!! of course Friday it rained so we ended up not going camping. We hung out with Grandma and Pappy just chatting and watching TV. Saturday Pappy and Michael went fishing while Alex, Grandma, and I lounged most the morning then went into town for lunch at Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant. Then we went to a resale shop but couldn’t find what we wanted so went to Walmart instead, where Grandma bought Alex a really cool train that teaches the Alphabet with blocks. Plus she can ride it or push and walk behind it if she wants. Alex just loved it!! Pappy and Michael came home happy from their fishing trip with a cooler full of fish. They said the only kept about half of what they caught… But you know how fishermen can be with their stories ; ) Sunday morning was another morning of just lounging around watching Alex try and walk along everything. Somehow she was pushing herself around a sofa table when she fell and hit the back of her head really hard!! I think that is the hardest…so far!!! poor baby was crying like crazy. I finally calmed her down and we snuggled on the couch for a while and in no time she was back to playing with her new toy again!! After grilling steaks for dinner it was time to head home! Once we were home and unloaded we relaxed in the living room to watch the new HBO series Boardwalk Empire… Which was pretty good! By 10 pm we were all three piled in bed together feeling exhausted!! For being a Monday morning I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning but had a hectic crazy busy day!! My brother came by to help me order a new TV because ours broke in the master bedroom. Then I was doing laundry, cleaning floors, unloading the dishwasher during Alex’s nap. Also for dinner we had my brother and his girlfriend come over… Although that didn’t go as planned… We have had a motorcycle for sale for a while now and a buyer came by this evening to look at it and ended up buying it… Yeah!!! I ended up not even eating til after J left because I was getting stuff ready for the sale! At at least the bike is sold and that’s one more thing to mark off the list!! I hope that tomorrow is not so hectic!!

I'm sorry to hear you are sick. My 5 month old just got over his first little cold. I think he got it at the doctor's office! Rest up and enjoy your weekend. This is a post for entry in the Beanie Designs giveaway.

Oh man. Sickness sucks. 🙁 I'm sorry you're not feeling good. I hope you climb out of it soon. Knock on wood, we're all still hanging in there; it can change at the drop of a hat though.

You poor thing!! Especially with the whole household being sick. Not fun! Princess Nagger was home sick the last two days – and probably would have preferred to stay home again today. 😉 I'm trying to fight it off myself – she usually 'shares' with me. 😉 Feel better!!Aloha: Paper Stacks – to Save or Not to Save

I hope you feel better soon! My oldest tends to be the ne to get sick, and she has a nasty cough she can't shake right now.

Me not so much by our daughter, I can count on a stuffy nose and cough at least once a month during the cold weather. I had been told that after her first year of pre-school, it would get better. That was two years ago and still no sign of letting up or becoming less frequent. Fingers crossed this is the winter where she isn't sick so often.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. We don't get sick too often in our house. If we do it's usually just a cold but my daughter is prone to ear infections. Amazingly she hasn't had to have tubes…yet.

I never used to get sick, but this last year I have gotten a cold everytime some one passes me with the sniffles. Winter seems to be the time for them in our house 🙁

I don't think they get any more sicker than usual. They do get their flu shots every November, though.KailaniAn Island Life
