Well this last weekend has been an interesting one to say the least. Unfortunately Saturday I found out that WE (everyone involved) had been scammed. I was checking on the How Sweet Promotion was going only to find that the link didn’t work – it disappeared… wait pretty much every link associated with Gina Parker had disappeared!! Twitter let me know that it was a SCAM… I was saddend not for the money lost on my part but the fact that so many of us had trusted in one person only to be fruaded! One thing I know for sure is that we as a community are above this and will go beyond this. One of my fav bloggers Menopausal New Mom said it best that if we all follow each other then this will have been a HUGE success regardless of what happened!! SO hopefully we all do just that!! The only thing left to say about that is KARMA…
The rest of my birthday weekend was great! I got to hang out with my most favoritist people – the Hubby & my sweet little Monkey for the whole weekend. Not really doing anything just being together. Saturday evening we went to a bday dinner for me at the in laws. Yummy BBQ and a peanut butter cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory… YUM!!

I know this pic is blurry but you can still see that lovely little face that is dancing with excitement because of the music coming from the birthday card. Gotta love it!!

Sunday we realxed went shopping for some things and then hung out friends ~ My Munoz Family. The Hubby grilled some yummy Salmon and I made fresh green beans with potatoes… Summer said she didn’t like green beans(which I did not know) but she thought that these were so good!! It was nice to hang out and relax!! I received a beautiful bday card from my little monkey that made me all teary eyed… I LOVE that little thing!! We ended up getting into bed early and snuggled up…
