Today Daddy and Alex did swimming lessons together! Normally I take her but it was Daddy’s turn today! She was so excited when she saw her daddy… it is so cute she starts jumping up and down with the biggest smile on her face, making hand gestures that she wants him!! It melts my heart!!!! She is such a little fish and just loves the water… something that Michael and I are both really happy about : ) Both of her instructers have commented on how amazed they are by how comfortable she is in the water!! She is learning so much, how to climb out, float on her back, and go under water/swim underwater. Every time Ms. Jesse comes by Alex reaches for her to swim with her… I love it!!! I definitely recommend putting your babies in swim lessons early. Here are a couple of pics from this morning! Enjoy…

She’s so cute. That’s something I wish I did with my boys was get them in swim lessons early. You don’t want them to be afraid of the water!!

This is a wonderful post! I took my daughter to swim tots ( 30 years ago) when she was about 9 months. She took to the water like a little mermaid. I taught the class too. It was great fun. Wishing you happiness, Katherine
Cute pictures! I agree that swim lessons are most beneficial when you do them early. That way they develop a level of comfort in the water. Looks like your little one will be swimming independently by next summer.
What cute pictures. What a great idea taking lessons together. If I had learn to swim when I was younger. I wouldn’t be such a scaredy cat. lol Im your newest follower from Mom Bloggers.

These pictures are adorable! I like the kick, kick, paddle, paddle one! I am still amazed when I see a baby so little swimming like that.
