Synopsis:

MacKenzie Cahill has dealt with overbearing and
overprotective brothers her entire life, making it near impossible to enjoy her
teenage years. Having a boyfriend was practically impossible until she met a guy
that wasn’t afraid to stand up to them – Dominic. He was sweet, thoughtful, and
everything MacKenzie ever wanted in a man.

But when they go away to
college at Old Dominion University, MacKenzie sees a whole new side of Dominic
and begins to wonder if he really is different from every other guy.

Her
world is turned upside down after a party, and her brothers’ best friend Hunter
is the one there to offer her a shoulder to cry on. The chemistry between them
is electric, and feelings for each other that have been hidden for years are
finally voiced.

Is Hunter willing to be disloyal to his best friends in
order to be with the one girl he’s always secretly wanted?

Review:
OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. What a fabulous debut novel. So lets just say I am blown away. You will love all of the main characters. This book centers around Hunter and MacKenzie aka: Kenzie and CC. I will call her CC. The book starts with CC first meeting Hunter. It reflects on their first 7 years together and the different stages of their relationship. One night CC confesses she loves Hunter and he turns her down. Hunter has always had feelings for CC even though he told her differently. However, her overbearing brothers will kill him, if he ever touches her. CC moves on to someone new, Dominic. Along with Dominic and Hunter, CC and her bff  Hailey end up at the same college. Something horrible things happens to CC and she ends up in the arms of Hunter.

Oh Hunter he is so dreamy…

Moving Along…

Their relationship grows from there. There are hiccups along the way but they find their way to each other. BUT, and this is a big BUT, just when you think they will get their happy ending the most shocking thing happens. I DID NOT SEE THIS HAPPENING. I looked to see if there was more but the book was over with.

NOOOOOOO!

I loved the book it was so emotional. I loved the family relationships and how Cooper, Mason and Jackson loved their sister so much.

Megan Smith is a genius. As a debut novel this has quickly jumped to one of my favorite reads. Will I read it again? ABSOLUTLEY. Will I be in agony until book 2 comes out?  ABSOLUTLEY
Is this a must read?

YES, YES, YES.

You are really missing out is you do not read this book. There will be a few more books to this series revolved around all of the brothers as well. I am definitely the first in line for those.
