Synopsis:

After experiencing a humiliating breakup, twenty-two-year-old Cassandra Clarke is fresh out of college and living a simple solitary life without any intentions of pursuing love anytime soon.

When the estate next door sells, the last thing Cassandra expects is the unnerving attraction she feels for her sinfully handsome neighbor, Logan West, the young and charming single father with a playboy reputation.

It’s through Oliver, Logan’s four-year-old son, who keeps popping up in her childhood tree house, that she slowly begins to catch glimpses of the compassionate and wounded man Logan has hidden beneath his strong exterior.

Cassandra knows it’s wrong and that she’s heading for another heartbreak.
Logan will never be able to give her what she wants…love.

Review:

I am extremely impresses with Angela Graham.  This is a debut for Angela and she knocks it out of the park. I am talking home run can’t see the ball anymore kind of HIT. If I could give this book over 5 stars on Amazon I would. What a fabulous story. I loved Cassandra. She is getting her life back on track after being broken and meets a little boy who changes her world. Logan, Oliver’s dad is broken and copes the only way he thinks is “safe”. He believes a no-commitment, sex only relationship is the only way to go. Cassandra refuses to be one of these and they strike a friendship. Each other slowly starts to fall but refuse to take that last step. Just when I think the happy ever after is going to happen, I get blown away with a gut-wrenching, stunning cliffhanger. I loved the way it ended. I am not big on the cliffhangers but I don’t think it could have ended another way. There is still so much more to tell. You can’t fix broken in 1 book . So with that I fell like a drug addict when I say I need this book now. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT let the fact that it will have a second book stop you. This is a book everyone has to read. It is such a wonderful story. You will not be disappointed with this book.
