Review: Faithful by Kelly Elliott

by | Aug 19, 2013 | KUWTR

After Heather Lambert’s parents died in a tragic car accident her senior year of high school, she refuses to let anyone into her heart for fear of being hurt again. Focusing only on school to follow her dreams of becoming an elementary school teacher, the last thing Heather intends to do is fall in love with Josh Hayes.

Josh knows the moment he lays eyes on Heather that she is the one he’s been waiting for. During months of obstacles and denied feelings, he is rejected by her time and time again.
When he finally wins her love, Josh and Heather start planning their future together…until Heather receives one bit of news she never wanted to hear again.

There has been a car accident.

Josh wakes up with no memory of Heather, and his ex-girlfriend, Victoria, is his nurse. Heather must decide if she’ll risk being hurt again and fight for the one man she loves with all her heart.

Will Josh remember Heather when she needs him the most? Or will Victoria take advantage of this opportunity, pushing Heather away from Josh for good?

Faithful is the third book in the Wanted series by Kelly Elliott

REVIEW by Dani
I have been waiting long excruciating months for this book, and Kelly did not disappoint. This book had 10, yes that is right 10 different POV’s. Awesome. Kelly shows great depth as an author being able to maintain all of these so gracefully and brilliantly.  I love that we get a book that focuses on the main characters and also a peek into the lives of our favorites. We get to see their relationships grow and expand.
Saved (my favorite Kelly Elliott book ever) left us with a real WTF moment. We get answers an soon as the book opens. Josh has been in a horrible accident trying to get to Heather after she walked out on him after a fight. Josh can’t remember parts of his life, but he does know he has a connection to the beautiful blond with blue eyes who was holding his hand when he woke up.
When her face lit up like Christmas morning, I found myself wanting to make her smile like that again. Then, she let out a small giggle that moved through my whole body.
Heather is of course devastated because the love of her life does not remember their life together. But she is determined to be there and see him through this. I love that we have seen Heather grow through these 3 books, she is a kick ass girl, not the girl who was so broken from her parents death. She has real fight in this book. Josh the once man-whore, finds himself not wanting to go back to that old life and with the help of his good friends and his heart they confirm his feelings. He gets to make Heather fall in love with him twice in a lifetime. There will be hiccups along the road, and Victoria plays a huge part in this.
As series followers, we have all seen Gunner throw on the charm, but I will have to say Josh gives Gunner a run for his money. I do not want to spoil a single minute, just take my word, that Josh will melt your heart. He is Yummy!!
Faithful also introduces us to Scott and Jessi, we met them both in Saved, but we dive further into their backstory and it sets us up for the next book in the series Cherished due out in January, oh Kelly you are making my heart hurt.
Fans of this series what should you expect: prepare yourselves to be swooned, you will be a little mad at Gunner, Jeff will redeem himself (honestly he did piss me off in Saved), Ellie gets a moment of her lifetime, you will want to hug and squeeze the adorable Mathew, fall in love with Jessi and Scott and of course you will love Josh and Heather more than infinity.
