Twenty-one year-old Jillian Nichols only has one rule when it comes to boys: catch and release. Boy-catching isn’t just a game for Jillian and her friends, it’s a lifestyle. After all, boys might be good for a dance or a drink and certainly a little under-cover action of the scandalous variety, but expect much else and you’re bound for heart ache.

So when her best friends and fellow boy catchers start dropping like flies junior year, Jillian is determined to keep boys in her bedroom and out of her heart. Until she meets Liam McAvoy, the kind of guy that sticks around to make waffles and who can’t—or perhaps won’t—take a hint.

Study abroad student Liam doesn’t want to be another notch on Jillian’s bedpost. Actually he has much more interesting ideas for Jillian and her bedposts, but his student visa’s set expiration date means he can’t promise her forever. That doesn’t mean he’s going to walk away from the challenge of discovering why Jillian is hell-bent at keeping people at a distance.

Before long, neither is sure who is catching who—or if they’re playing for keeps. Jillian knows one thing though: falling in love will not only break the only rule of boy-catching, it could also break her heart.

REVIEW by Dani

I was pulled into this story from the first few lines. First I loved the fact that you 3 strong independent girls. They are girls in college out to have fun. Jillian is determined to do just this. She has a small secret that effects her out look, she believes in the just have fun ever after no string. Then one morning she wakes up from what she thinks is a one night stand to a handsome Scottish guy making her waffles, did I mention he was naked. YEP, very sexy Liam.

Liam is on a exchange program from Scotland. Liam is sexy, dashing, supportive, loyal and I am sure he has a sexy accent. He is in the USA and when he meet Jillian he does not want to let her go. Soon they go ’round and round. Until the secret comes out. Bring in an overbearing mother, a stubborn daughter, loyal friends and then man that is in love with you and you get a great mix of a story line that you can’t put down.

Another thing that made this book so great were the strong secondary characters. They really made the story more enjoyable which is great because Jess and Cassie, Jillian’s best friends will also get their own stories. So we are not done with Jillian and Liam I hope. There is so much more to be told with this awesome group. There are no cliffhangers at all. Just a great read with a wonderful ending,

I’d rather be walking on the beach than watching TV. I’m a hopeless romantic, a fan of kissing scenes, and I’m always hunting for my next book boyfriend. I write YA books by day and books about falling in love by night. That might make me a super hero.
