National Mom's Nite Out 2011
 
I have been looking forward to this event for a while now and wanted to make sure that you all knew about it also!!  What mom doesn’t want a nite out for good times, shopping, food, music, and PRIZES!! So~ check it out, sign up, and get out for a nite!! If you don’t have an event in your local area… organize one : )
 
About:National Mom’s Nite Out is the first nationally organized celebration of motherhood Intended to bring togethertoday’s moms, physically and virtually, The National Mom’s Nite Out will unite over 150 social media groups, companies, local playgroups, Mommy bloggers and mother social networks in giving moms a well deserved night off.

The evening will consist of local events held across the country, as well as mom-organized parties and virtual activities.
When:Thursday, May 5, 2011 (Always the Thursday before Mother’s Day)
 
Where:Online throughout Twitter and other social networking sites and in-home and in sponsoring retail locations(The Arboretum)
Who:The National Mom’s Nite Out is being orchestrated by Maria Bailey, Host of MomTalk Radio and author of TheUltimate Mom, Trillion Dollar Moms, Marketing to Moms,and Mom 3.0 as well as top mom websites including MomTV.com, Newbaby.com, BlueSuitMom.com, SmartMomSolutions.com, MommyParties.com and MomSelect.com. Simon Property Group, Inc, the largest operator of regional malls, is a sponsor of National Mom’s Nite Out and will provide venues for moms to attend local events in their cities.
 
My local event will be at the Arboretum~ I hope to see y’all there!!
 
The Arboretum is a host location for Mom’s Nite Out which will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 5 p.m. – 8p.m. They will have various retailers and outside businesses set up throughout the center and they will have interactive activities for mom’s (see list below). They will also have a photo booth, caricature artist, food, beverages and music! Prizes will also be available throughout the evening and the first 200 moms who register at The Arboretum will receive a complimentary swag bag filled with goodies.
 
Participants include:
Bella Maui – they will be hosting an in-store event with a local jewelry designer as well as proving fingerfoods to shoppers. They will also be offering 20% coupons valid from 5-8p.m as well as a gift with purchase on any $50 in-store purchase

Heather Scott Home & Design– they will be offering a free Seda France candle with any purchase madebetween 5 – 8 p.m.
Nine West – they will be offering10% off any regular priced purchase from 5-8 p.m.
Restoration Hardware – they will have great Mother’s Day gift ideas as well as a raffle and refreshments.
Hush Hush Tan – they will beoffering free spray tan (legs only) as well as $10 spray tan session coupons($40 value). They will also be demonstrating the spray tan technique on their own models.
Austin Diagnostic Clinic – they will be handing out health information as well as giveaways.
Camp Gladiator – offering bootcamp sessions as a discounted rate and talking to moms about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
