Keeping in touch with family is super important to me! Since I was a senior in high school I have been on my own and have relied on email to keep in touch with my really large family! One person more so than any other… my sister!! It took me maturing to realize that I had a built in best friend, but living in different time zones and having families of our own limits our phone time to a bare minimum. Our main line of contact is through email. We share our up and downs, recipes, pictures, and those great forward jokes that we all LOVE to get though our computers! My favorite thing to email her is pictures of my growing little monkey, she has enriched my life more than anyone could ever know and I love sending updates on her growth to her Auntie! I love being able to share my days through words with my sister no matter what time or day it is. A few clicks of the key board and she knows what my day has been like or what Alexandra has learned that day! I truly love that we can keep in touch so well and live so far apart. My sister also keeps me updated on my nieces and nephew, how great they are doing in school or what new thing they are involved in. I LOVE being able to keep tabs on them also. If you notice there is one word that is used over and over here and that is LOVE… Love is sent through the emails. The love of our family, our friends, and the love in our lives in general shared whenever we want.
This video from Yahoo! reminds me of me and my sister how we are going to be little old ladies sharing notes and pictures through email for a very long time!
