Hooker Bath is a company that makes fabulous and fun soaps. Their motto is “Rinse, Be Naughty, Repeat.” And when put that way, how could I resist?
I had the pleasure of receiving the Hooker Bath Soap in Fresh Milk + Shea Butter and the 3-piece gift box in Wildflower. Now, I’m usually a liquid soap type gal, but after using the Fresh Milk + Shea Butter on my entire body, I can now say I’ve converted to this sculpted soap in a box. My skin felt silky smooth, the smell was wonderful, with the benefits an added bonus.
Firstly, shea butter helps moisturize without clogging pores. It’s gentle on sensitive skin (which I qualify heavily on), and it helps fight acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and can even reduce scarring. It also contains vitamins helpful in the reconstruction of skin cell damage and are antioxidants that keep skin safe from harmful radicals.
I’m currently living my first winter in Colorado. Coming from Texas, my skin has not adapted well to the dry and cold temperatures. My hands have been suffering from dryness, small cuts forming around my knuckles. My skin has become itchy from the lack of hydration, so it was a blessing and a relief to find a moisturizing soap.
The 3-piece gift box is perfect, as I now have been using the soaps for my hands and have placed a bar in every location that I use to wash up. My hands are slowly healing from the harsh winter, and they feel soft, smooth and smell damn good.
So, I rinsed, I was naughty (I won’t tell you how so), and I have definitely repeated.
