SUMMARY:
When a charming polar bear cub climbs into bed one night, she asks her mama a very important question–one that little “human cubs” often wonder about too: “Where did I come from?” As Mama Bear tucks her young cub under the quilts, she gently, tenderly, and reassuringly communicates the message loving parents everywhere (bears and non-bears alike) want their little ones to hear: “We wanted you very, very much, and we are so very glad because…”God gave us you.” Perfect for bedtime, naptime, storytime, or anytime, God Gave Us You
provides a valuable opportunity to build children’s self-esteem every day and assure each one that he or she truly is a welcomed, precious, and treasured gift from above.

About the Illustrator:
MY THOUGHTS:
This book is completely adorable!! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful! This story is so well written and easy for a child to understand. It also uniquely tells the story of creation in a way that the little “human cubs” can understand and not get confused by all the adult language that goes along with this topic. It also takes the awkwardness away if your child is asking questions about where babies come from… no fretting over what to say or how to explain it. This is such a loving story that I will be sharing with my daughter (and future “human cubs”) for a long time to come! I would definitely recommend this book to others and purchase this book and the other books in this series for gifts.
MY RATING:
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 5 Hearts: Really Great Read

BlogHer blues? More like BlogHer 'green-with-envy'! LOL! I told my husband I am going to the next one in NYC. He just nodded his head – he didn't know what the heck I was talking about! Hopefully, I'll get to meet you there! 🙂
Yes! Every year I see all the posts and pics about BlogHer and wish I could've went. Maybe someday…I think I would be too intimidated to go by myself, though.
Can't say that I do..have too much going on in RL to even think about it.
Not at all! Not that I wouldn't enjoy it but I've been so busy with surgery and then tons of company, I can hardly find time for my blog let alone blogher!
Nope, don't have BlogHer blues. I don't even know what BlogHer is.
I was sad not to be at BlogHer, but I have to say I got over it quickly. I was more upset about missing TypeACon this year. Hoping to be able to make it to BlogHer12 since it is in my home state 🙂
I'm with Jennifer. I'm blue because I'm green and I wish I could have gone. Maybe next year…
I've never been to New York, and my daughter went this year, and I was sad I didn't go with her. I'd really would like to go. Now, to break the news to the husband. lol Thanks for stopping by!

I'm definitely having BlogHer envy. There are a ton of people already committed for next year and I'm hoping I'll get the opportunity to go!
Yes, BlogHer was a blast and I can't wait for NYC '12! KailaniAn Island Life
I'd love to go one day but it always falls on times where I can't get away from work. Hope you had a nice weekend!
