Michael & I met at his annual Halloween Party at “The Ranch”. He was the handsome Sheriff and I was Evening Gown Barbie (or whatever the dark haired barbie is named!). At first I was not going to go to this party but after prompting from Sara & Jessica  and how they were going on and on about Mike Pee… he is so cute, he is really great, you’ll like him… trust us!!” — All I could think was that I just really did not want to go… BUT boy was I WRONG (thank goodness) and am HAPPY that I went!! When we pulled up to the Ranch I saw the Sheriff and said “Oh please let that be Michael” and it was : ) Lucky me!! Although he barely acknowledged me I decided to take a chance and go up to him to see if he was someone I wanted to get to know.

He was!! He is good looking and a gentleman (gotta love those Texas MEN)!! Supposedly he had his eye on me as well but thought that I was interested in his friend, so he kept his distance!! As we left the party he asked if he could have my number and then after some reminding ; ) later in the week from Kevin, Michael came over for dinner on Nov. 5, 2004. This is where our story begins…

I met my hubby online WAY back in the day when it was SO not the cool thing to do (2000!) and for us it was love at first site. It’s wonderful when you find your one and only 🙂 I like your family history posts!

That’s so sweet! I wish I had pics of the night I met my husband, though that was many years ago those would be some laughable pics, lol!
