I really enjoy tasting new wines… I was super excited to recieve our shipment this month (which will NOT be our last)!! We received the following~

Daniel Gehrs Wines 2011 Santa Barbara County, White Hills Vineyard Chenin Blanc
Aromas of plums, wild flowers and clover honey lead to a fruity palate of ripe Barlett pear and melon flavors. The finish is crisp and zesty.

Drink now or hold up to 5 years.ME~ This was a very fruity dry wine for us. You can really taste the pear and melon notes. Personally this selection was not my “glass of wine”, but still enjoyed the “tasting” it is exciting to try new wines.

Dustiness, tanned leather and earthiness add complexity to the lush signature black cherry fruit. Tannins are smooth, lending backbone and a long finish.

ME~ This was a super smooth rich taste. You can definitely taste the black cherry flavor. We really enjoyed the Merlot and would re-order this bottle.

Overall we give this shipment two thumbs up!! We enjoyed The Daniel Gehrs tasting, it is fun to try new wines that I would never have heard of otherwise. Out of the 4 bottles we tried we really liked 3 of them… enough to re-order them!! I definitely recommend trying the California Wine Club out for yourself and remember you can cancel at anytime.
