Is a stranger who stalks your stalker a friend or your worst enemy?
Rachel Pendelton is determined to break from her small town past and stake out a new life for herself with a dream job in the big city. But hard work and determination are no match for whoever is working against her. When anonymous gifts show up, she’s flattered. When they appear in her locked apartment, she starts worrying. What can she do when everyone she turns to for help looks suspicious?
What she doesn’t know is that a game has begun. A game with rules as baffling as they are deadly. A game that will pit her against the criminally insane. And only one can finish alive.

About the Author(s):

Maren Kaye spent twenty years working in the newspaper business before taking the plunge into becoming a full-time fiction writer. As a journalist in Texas she won several awards for feature column writing and photography. She resides in Chapel Hill, NC.

S.L. Pierce spent ten years getting a PhD in engineering before deciding engineering wasn’t for her. She now lives in Colorado with her husband and four children. The short stories “The Hate” and “Manhunt” are her first published works. Her mystery/thriller Secrets came out in March 2011.

This is an edgy fast paced “who done it” that keeps you guessing till the end… Just when you think you know who it is… it isn’t… or is it??!!?? A very unique tale of stalkers, murder, and psychiatrist written from two perspectives, a psychiatrist and the victim. With twist and turns, this books keeps the pages turning! I recommend this book to others who love to read intense, gripping suspense thrillers.

    Mrs. Rheinlander,

    I really enjoyed your review of “The Devil’s Game.” Suspense and thrillers are easily my favorite genre. Especially, when they hit close to home.

    I found a really startling medical thriller recently. It’s titled “Labyrinth of Terror.” This book is scary, and apropos for the times. It’s about a bio-terror incident in a London hospital that’s scientifically feasible.
