MY THOUGHTS:
This is a very intense, intriguing, and sometimes emotional read! It kept me thinking and guessing. The main character Ara’s past issues really make you feel for her as a young girl that has had her whole world turned upside down! A.M. Hudson does a great job of getting the reader invested in the characters. While reading I was reminded of Twilight a bit which was eventually referenced in the storyline. This first installment of the Dark Secrets Series ends with a cliff hanger… I will definitely be looking forward to the next book in this series. I want to know where David and Ara-Rose end up! I would recommend this book to those who love the paranormal and Vampires!
