ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S):How to Break 10 Common Childhood Myths was developed by a mother/son teaching duo, Diane and Chad Finkbeiner. Diane has over 40 years of classroom experience ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade and has seen just about everything children are capable of. Chad has been a formal educator since 2006. Prior to this career change, he had been an extreme sports instructor and counselor for nearly a decade. Through their combined teaching experiences, the Finkbeiners identified a critical need: children need help in becoming independent and responsible. Their ultimate goal is to offer parental guidance that will help children become productive members of our society.
