Seamlessly woven with wisdom and wit, Thomas C. Adler’s heartfelt memoir blends forty-five years of summer camp with a lifetime of love. A tribute to family, friendship and the coming of age, Campingly Yours reflects on childhood in a bygone era adventure, tradition and the timeless bond between idyllic parents and a devoted son. From camper and counselor to owner and director, Adler’s nostalgic personal journey is seasoned with humor and insight, courage and character. Engaging from beginning to end, Adler masterfully captures the essence of summer camp at Chippewa Ranch…with the North Star as his constant guide.

This is a heart warming memoir! A great read for anyone who has been to summer camp, enjoys camping, or is going to be attending summer camp. This book really makes you feel like a kid again riding horses, swimming, and hiking. I loved the part where Ramona came into the picture (I won’t ruin it but it makes you all warm and fuzzy). I never went to camp as a child but often day dreamed about it… I think it would have been like it reads in the book!! I also really enjoyed all the pictures. I am an outdoors girl and would recommend this book to others.
4/5 Hearts: Really Great Read

Wow! I've never heard of these books, but they sound fantastic. I definitely want to get one especially since my son's dad is often away in the military. Thanks for the great review! New GFC follower from Blogaholic on my way to Alexa to leave a review.
