Blog Tour – Vixen in Vegas by Emma Nichols

by | Aug 19, 2013 | KUWTR

It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment, and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects. For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?
REVIEW by Dani
You will need major anxiety relief in the form of alcohol or pills. This book blew me away with the WTF moments I did not see coming. I am talking shut my kindle, I am not reading, this because it is way to emotionally upsetting. I calmed down and came back to this book. It is truly pure genius writing. I was such a fan of Sin at Sea. The novella had me so deep into the book and the sex scenes were off the chart. (You can read my review for Sin at Sea here ).
Vixen in Vegas is much longer. It picks up right were we left off with Alysin making the decision to meet BE (Benjamin Everly) in Vegas. So where Sin at Sea was steamy this book also offers that plus so much more. We get a soft sweet romantic side of Ben, the guy needs to learn more about Sin wants to  know all that makes her smile, makes her tick, He wants to be her everything for as long as he lives.  Yes, they spend so much time learning about each other physically, but they also start to dig deeper to who the other person really is. We also see Sin learn more about herself and the outcome is an emotionally strong Alysin, not just the independent girl we meet in Sin at Sea.
I highly recommend this book. I loved every single minute of it. Every tear I dropped, every angry word that I yelled and all the smiles this book gave me. A top notch book for Emma Nichols. You will not regret a single moment of this read. I promise. If you want heart-warming, gut-wrenching, steamy, and happy in a book this is it.

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn’t believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life’s cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.
