Choices in life are hard.
College student Emily Reynolds has been in a three year relationship with Cooper Thomason but one awful night has left their relationship shaken. She soon finds out she is pregnant and Cooper can’t give up his partying ways. Emily leaves Cooper and tries to find a life without him. She finds out a life without Cooper is harder than she thinks. Will Emily be able to move on from Cooper and find a relationship with another man or run back to him?
The story starts with Emily and Cooper, they live together and have been together for years. Cooper is a senior in college and has a job lined up after graduation. Cooper and Emily’s brother are best friends as well.
Lets just say Emily pissed me off in this book. I thought she was a little to self righteous in her thinking. I understand she is pregnant and has an unborn child to think of, but she irritated me a little. Cooper knows he messed up. At first I was not sure how to read him, but he is the one who suffers in this book. Saying all of this I loved how the role situation in this book was reversed. Usually as readers we side with the female, but throughout this entire story I could not help but feel sorry for Cooper. He did everything he could to help her and show her that he changed. She starts seeing someone else and even takes a trip with this guy while pregnant. I just have to applaud Cooper for being so understanding. I loved his character. I would have loved to see his Point of View that I think was the only thing lacking. It is a 1 book story which many of you will like. I really enjoyed the different perspective in this book and the way it was written.
