Adam and Sophia were best friends but when tragedy strikes it’s more than Adam can handle and he leaves Sophia alone in the dark.

Four years later, Adam and Sophia are reunited and the sparks between them return but is it too late?

Sophia is happy again and has let go of the darkness. She has great friends and a sweet boyfriend name Kyle. Now that Adam is back how will she be able to balance her boyfriend and her best friend?

The darkness always finds you again but will Adam be able to save her or leave her again?

A good debut book. It definitely draws an awareness to a serious issue. Sophia is a girl who was broken after her mother died and she took everything out on the people closest. Four years later she is in college and has a boyfriend, but does not feel love with him. He becomes abusive towards her and Sophia keeps this a secret from everyone.

In walks the love of her life, the person she pushed away 4 years ago. Adam is so awesome, he vows to make Sophia realize how much he loves her and he is determined to make sure she knows this.

Kyle becomes aggressive, he stalks and threatens until finally he snaps. I love the suspense this offers as well as a great story. I love the determination Adam has to make sure Sophia knows he will always be there for her.

This is a heartwarming story with true friendships. Some of both past and present. You will love Erin and Connor. I do wish we could learn more about there love story, they are so great in this book.
