Are you neat, straight up, or sour?

Hey Babes!

Who wants to sit back relax and slowly sip on a lovely scotch whisky while reading Donna Grant’s newest release – Heart of Gold a Dark Kings Novella

Dreagan Single Malt Scotch…

The Dragon Kings forged a path to hide themselves while still living amongst the humans. They began distilling whisky, adding a touch that only a dragon could.

Dreagan whisky is smooth yet complex with a deep flavor like the love reflected in HEART OF GOLD

Dreagan whisky is unfortunately not real but  you can try Edradour out of Scotland (found at Spec’s) which is what the flavor of Dreagan Whisky is based off of.

Here are several different techniques to enjoy your Whisky…

Neat:
Lowball Cocktail Glass
Jigger (Measuring tool)
2 ounces of Whisky

Measure 2 ounces of whisky and pour into your lowball cocktail glass with as little interruption as possible and you have your whisky neat. Sip slowly and savor.

**Some say a few drops of water using a cocktail straw can make a whiskey neat much more flavorful that a couple of drops wakes the whisky up.**

Straight Up:
Lowball Cocktail Glass
Cocktail Shaker
2 ounces of Whisky

Measure 2 ounces of whisky and pour into your cocktail shaker over ice, mix it and then strain it into your glass. Sip slowly and enjoy.

Classic Scotch Sour:
1 1/2 ounces Scotch whisky
3/4 ounce lemon juice (fresh)
Cocktail Shaker

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the scotch and lemon juice and shake well. Then pour into a lowball cocktail glass over ice and enjoy.

**When mixing a cocktail it is suggested using a blended whisky to accentuate the flavors of the citrus or other mixers.**

Heart of Gold

Return to Dreagan for a special Valentine’s story featuring Constantine, the King of Dragon Kings, and his mate…

He’s loved her for eons, wanted her forever, and a day never passes without her at the forefront of his mind.

The only way Con could pass the time as his fellow Dragon Kings slept away the centuries was to record his thoughts in journals: one for his responsibilities as King of Dragon Kings, and another for the object of his desire. Now that she’s finally back in his life and his arms, it’s time she learns the truth. He played a part all those eons—maybe a little too well—but he never stopped loving her, and his journal will show her just how much.

But Con is the one in for a surprise as his mate turns the tables on him and leads him on a merry chase. If he can find her, he knows he’s in for something special. But then again, every day is extraordinary with his love by his side. And, thankfully, their future has never looked brighter.

Do you have a favorite Whisky? Or Whisky Cocktail…
