In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So on Fridays Kailani takes it easy on posting and just asks one question! So go link up and check out the other blogs that participate at An Island Life and ask your own question…
This Sunday is my 31st Birthday!! WooHoo!! We generally celebrate everyone’s birthdays by going to dinner and hanging out at the Ranch… unless it is a BIG birthday then we go all out for a BIG Party! So my question to you is…
How do you celebrate your birthday??

We usually just go out for dinner on my birthday. Last summer though, when I turned 40, I was on a cruise, so that was great!

I don’t. Once I turned 40 I never looked back. The kids like taking me out to dinner though. I can handle that.

For me the family comes over for a cookout, nice and low key. I may go out for drinks with my girlfriends too.

    Happy Birthday!

It depends on who I’m celebrating with. If it’s with my husband or friends we usually go out to dinner, a club or take a trip. When I celebrate with family we have a huge BBQ, since my birthday is around the end of summer.

    Happy (early) Birthday!!

We usually go out to dinner or order dinner and stay in – unless it’s a ‘Big’ birthday, then you’re right – that deserves a BIG party! 😉

My husband and I are going on a date for my birthday, and then I am putting some cash into our Vegas fund for my gift, so I can go shopping there. Some years we don’t do anything, but other times we actually get to do a little something. 🙂

Today is my birthday. I didn’t even remember it was until I was in the car line picking up my son.

    No celebration here.

Dh did send me an email from half way around the world though.

I just went and bought myself an ice cream cake. I’ll share with the kids later and that’s about it.

Typically for my birthday we try to make it out to dinner. Some years this does not happen thanks to snow. Then we have cake with the kids and enjoy time together.

Happy Birthday! usually we either go out for a meal or have people round for a bbq, but next year’s my 30th and I’m thinking a trip somewhere I’ll never forget?!
